Students Shadow Attorneys: High school student writes local newspaper about experience at Motley Rice during ProjectGO!
As part of this year’s ProjectGO!, the firm’s fourth annual volunteer days event, more than 20 students from Wando High School’s Rhetoric of Law class spent May 1 at Motley Rice’s headquarters in Mt. Pleasant, S.C., learning what a day in the life for Motley Rice lawyers is like.
While the lawyers and staff members who volunteered for the mentoring program had a number of good things to say about the students, one student in particular wrote his local paper to share his thoughts on the memorable experience.
In his letter, Alexander Cullen described his day spent with attorney Brian Bevon: “The trip was indescribably pleasant thanks to the hospitality of Motley Rice, but more importantly, the ability to spend individual time as a student in a law class with talented and established attorneys was invaluable and extremely charitable on the part of the Motley Rice Law Firm.”
