Newly Elected Senator: Motley Rice attorney Marlon Kimpson joins South Carolina State Senate

On Tuesday, October 1, 2013,  Motley Rice member Marlon Kimpson was elected to the South Carolina State Senate representing District 42, which includes Charleston and Dorchester counties. Kimpson was sworn in on Monday, Oct. 7, 2013.

 

Kimpson represents a variety of people, families, public pension funds, unions and other institutional investors in diverse areas of complex litigation, from securities fraud and shareholder derivative litigation to consumer protection, workplace safety and human rights.
