MUSC “Kids Helping Kids”: Cards for a Cause
For 7 years, Motley Rice has sponsored the MUSC Children’s Hospital “Kids Helping Kids” Card Project. The project has become an annual favorite, and for 2016, we are proud to be the Presenting Sponsor of the project.
The cards are created by patients and siblings of patients at MUSC Children’s Hospital and are available for purchase. All proceeds from the holiday card project go fully towards the campaign for the new MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital and its groundbreaking efforts.
Each pack of holiday cards is a unique set drawn by 15 children. Cards are available in packs of twelve for $15.00 and are for sale to the Charleston community at local businesses, service organizations and directly by volunteers. Bulk orders are also available online here.
Teaming up with Charleston’s own Darius Rucker, MUSC created a Public Service Announcement also featuring Motley Rice attorneys John Baden and Carmen Scott to publicize the project. Watch the PSA.
Last year the MUSC “Kids Helping Kids” project raised $55,000 and throughout the years, has collected more than $900,000 for the hospital. All money raised goes directly to benefit research, education and programs at the Children’s Hospital.
