Second Annual ProjectGO!: Motley Rice kicks off firm-wide volunteer efforts
Motley Rice promotes volunteer efforts on both a local and national level by sharing our heads, hands and hearts in working towards a better tomorrow. We are proud of the success achieved during our inaugural ProjectGO! day last year and are excited to hold our second ProjectGO! event on April 18 and April 25.
ProjectGO! is a community outreach program allowing Motley Rice employees to contribute a portion of their normal office hours to non-profit groups and organizations in the Charleston area for a day of giving back. This year, firm employees will help the following Lowcountry organizations:
- Carolina Youth Development Center (CYDC)
- Charleston Animal Society (CAS)
- Charleston Parks Conservancy (Elliotborough Park and Community Garden)
- Sandpiper Rehabilitation and Nursing Center
Each organization has a variety of tasks planned for Motley Rice volunteers, including repainting furniture, landscaping, gardening, visiting patients and providing IT support.
We look forward to fostering new relationships within the community this year and encourage you to connect with us on Facebook and Twitter for updates and photos of our Motley Rice ProjectGO! teams in action!
Local not-for-profits interested in being a part of ProjectGO! may reach out to the firm's Charitable Committee Chair Mike Elsner.
