Scribes Award Dinner: Motley Rice member Don Migliori to deliver keynote address

The National Conference of Law Reviews (NCLR) holds an annual conference that  brings together law reviews from around the country to address issues involving the operation of a student-edited publication.  Hosted each year by one of the member law reviews, the conference will be hosted this year by the Roger Williams University (RWU) Law Review on the RWU Law campus from March 28 to April 1, 2012.

Motley Rice member Don Migliori, who also serves as a RWU School of Law Adjunct Professor and as RI Association for Justice President, will serve as the conference's keynote speaker for the Scribes Award Dinner on Thursday, March 29, 2012, at the Westin Providence. Lawyer and legal activist Betty Ann Waters and Michael Waldman, a former White House Chief Speechwriter, will also give keynote addresses during the conference.

NCLR will enable attending publications to speak with faculty advisors, academic authors, and numerous members of the legal community, as well as attend lively social events. According to RWU Law Review Editor-in-Chief Tim Grimes, the conference's itinerary " is designed to provide you with a comprehensive experience that will benefit you as both an editor and as a member of the legal community. The panels are designed to give incoming editors a starting point in beginning to lead their journal and to give graduating editors the opportunity to build upon their law review experiences. The panels will certainly be one of the highlights of your time in Rhode Island as you participate in the sharing of ideas among editors, authors, and practitioners. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to hear from three prominent and impressive keynote speakers who I am confident will inspire all of your future endeavors."
