Madeline Becker works primarily on environmental, product liability, and consumer protection cases at the firm.
While completing her legal studies Madeline served in several positions, including as Executive Publications Editor for the Buffalo Law Review and as Publications Editor for the Buffalo Human Rights Law Review. She was also a James Kent Faculty Research Scholar, and a Writing Fellow in the Legal Analysis, Writing and Research Program.
Madeline was a law clerk with Motley Rice in 2023 where she researched and analyzed products liability and environmental tort issues. She also worked as an extern for the Honorable Jeremiah J. McCarthy with the Western District of New York, and with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of New York, in addition to internships for the Honorable Julio M. Fuentes with the Third Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals, and the Office of the New York State Attorney General’s Intergovernmental Affairs Bureau, where, among other duties, she managed the 2019 Charities Symposium
Fluent in French, Madeline was a bilingual intern for the 501(c)(3) non-profit Rendez-Vous: Haiti, where her duties included creating and managing a fundraiser and translating for grants. She also gave her time to the Together for Down Syndrome & Environmental Action Committee in support of disability rights and environmental justice.
