HB Litigation Conference: Motley Rice member to participate in panel about asbestos multidistrict litigation

Motley Rice member and asbestos lawyer John Herrick will participate in HB Litigation Conferences' 14th Annual National Asbestos Litigation Conference being held from Monday, Oct. 3 to Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011, at the Ritz-Carlton in Amelia Island, Fla.

Herrick will speak in a panel discussion on Monday, Oct. 3 at 8:30 a.m. entitled, "20 Years and Counting: The Curtain Call for MDL 875" along with Walter Watkins, Jr., of Forman Perry Watkins Krutz and Tardy LLP and the Honorable Eduardo Robreno of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania

Topics covered by the panel will include:

  • Remand of cases for trial
  • Timeline for resolution and new cases transferred
  • Understanding current discovery and settlement process
