Mathew Jasinski named “New Leader in Law” by The Connecticut Law Tribune

The Connecticut Law Tribune has recognized Motley Rice consumer fraud attorney Mathew Jasinski as a “New Leader in Law” for 2018.

The award spotlights attorneys under the age of 40 “who have excelled in the courtroom, in client service and cultivation, in service to bar associations and in performing pro bono work or community service in a volunteer capacity.” Twenty-four attorneys were selected for the honor, which was presented through the Tribune’s annual Professional Excellence Awards ceremony on May 24, 2018.

As a member attorney in Motley Rice’s Connecticut office, Mathew represents consumers, businesses, and governmental entities in complex matters involving consumer protection, unfair trade practices, commercial, environmental, securities and whistleblower litigation. Outside of the courtroom, he demonstrates civic involvement in the local Hartford community as a vice chairman of the board of directors for the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, commissioner of the Hartford Parking Authority, and deacon of the Asylum Hill Congregational Church. Previously, Mathew served on the city’s Charter Revision Commission and its Young Professionals Task Force, an organization focused on engaging young professionals and positioning them for future business and community leadership.
