In Remembrance: September 11, 2010

This Saturday, September 11, 2010, will mark the 9th anniversary of one of the most horrific days in our country's history when terrorists used hijacked planes as weapons to inflict unprecedented death and destruction on American soil. Those events devastated the United States and the world. From the World Trade Center Towers to the Pentagon to a quiet field in Shanksville, PA, the cries of the nearly 3,000 murdered and maimed called out through the dust and smoke to those of us who survived.

In the days and weeks that followed, families, friends, survivors and the nation grieved at depths we previously thought were impossible. On this anniversary, we honor those killed and injured and those who have cherished and kept alive the memories of their loved ones lost on 9/11.

At this moment of reflection, we also want to openly share our pride in the over 5,000 family members and survivors who came together to form the 9/11 Families United to Bankrupt Terrorism. It has been a privilege and honor to work with you all in your unwavering support of Thomas E. Burnett, Sr., et al. vs. Al Baraka Investment and Development Corporation, et al. and those with individual cases concerning the failure of aviation security in In re September 11 Litigation. Through your legal battle to expose those who made 9/11 possible through financial and material support and from lax security practices, you have advanced the cause of justice, enriched the public's understanding of what happened and kept an important moment in our nation's history alive.

On this solemn day, know that we at Motley Rice LLC are with you in our thoughts and prayers, our labor and service.
