Motley Rice a finalist in four “Elite Trial Lawyers” categories
The National Law Journal announced finalists for its 2018 Elite Trial Lawyers® and has named Motley Rice a finalist in four categories for its “exemplary performance in cutting edge work.” The firm is a finalist for the following practice areas:
- Counterterrorism
- Environmental Protection
- Financial Products
- Product Liability
The award reviewed work from January 1, 2017 to April 30, 2018.
The Elite Trial Lawyers winners will be announced at an event on October 5, 2018.
About the award:
According to the National Law Journal, the 2018 finalists devote at least 50% of their litigation resources representing plaintiffs and should have received at least one significant plaintiffs win between January 1, 2017, and April 30, 2018, and possess an impressive record of success within the past three to five years. A “significant win” means prevailing in a bench or jury trial or in a major settlement in which the stakes are high; for example, a substantial amount of money is involved or the outcome potentially affects litigation strategy or the results in similar cases. The finalists were selected after thorough research, analysis, and vetting by editors and reporters at VerdictSearch, Law.com and The National Law Journal. Editors and reporters from ALM and The National Law Journal reviewed more than 300 submissions, including self-nominations, across 23 categories to arrive at this list. The lawyers and law firms selected as finalists have demonstrated exemplary performance in cutting-edge work on behalf of plaintiffs over the last 18 months. More information.
