Fallen Firefighter Foundation: Golf tournament honors fallen heroes

Motley Rice is proud to again sponsor the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation's (NFFF) annual golf tournament on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011, at Kiawah Island Resort's Oak Point golf course on John's Island, S.C.

The tournament is held in honor of firefighters who have lost their lives in the line of duty and raises funds to help provide resources to surviving family members. All of the proceeds from the NFFF tournament will be used to provide immediate and long-term assistance, scholarships and vocational training for families of fallen firefighters.

Motley Rice, along with Knight Law Firm; O'Neill & Phipps; The Richter Firm; The Solomon Law Group; and Woodley & McGillivary represented the families of nine Charleston firefighters who lost their lives in the 2007 Sofa Super Store Fire.

We offer our deepest sympathies to the grieving families and friends of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice and encourage all to take a moment to honor these men and women, pay tribute to their memory and sacrifice in addition to supporting those who continue to suffer from the loss of their loved ones.
