September 11, 2001 individual case trial date set

On October 20, 2010, in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, the Honorable Alvin K. Hellerstein set a trial date for Bavis v. United Airlines, Inc. The family of Mark Bavis, a passenger on board United Airlines Flight 175 on September 11, 2001, filed suit against United Airlines and other defendants alleging gross negligence in connection with the hijackers' ability to board Flight 175. The trial date is June 13, 2011 in New York.
