An amended complaint was filed today as part of a civil lawsuit filed in December 2011 by an alleged sexual abuse victim of Charleston-area teacher and coach Louis "Skip" ReVille against Pinewood Preparatory School and its former headmaster Glyn Cowlishaw.

The U.S. Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals supported the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida's ruling in favor of Motley Rice's client regarding fraudulent transfer allegations presented in Chris Turner v. Ramo, LLC.

Following extensive negotiation and a week-long trial delay issued by Judge Carl Barbier in the BP multidistrict litigation (MDL), the Plaintiffs' Steering Committee (PSC) for the MDL has reached a settlement in principle with BP that, if approved by the court, would compensate hundreds of thousands of individuals and businesses affected by the Deepwater Horizon disaster. These lawsuits were consolidated in the MDL In re Oil Spill by the Oil Rig "Deepwater Horizon" in the Gulf of Mexico, on April 20, 2010, No. 10-md-02179 (U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana).

The 9/11 Families United to Bankrupt Terrorism issued a statement today in support of former Senators Bob Graham (FL) and Bob Kerrey (NE), who entered declarations in federal court supporting further investigation into possible connections between Saudi Arabia, the Saudi High Commission and the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
