Social Media Evidence Library

This library contains more than 2,000 exhibits, internal communications, research documents, and other materials cited in social media harm lawsuits across the United States.

These records provide insight into allegations concerning youth mental health impacts, platform design, and product features at the center of ongoing legal proceedings. Review the Omnibus filing from the school district plaintiffs for a road map explaining the evidence.

The collection includes materials referenced in both state and federal courts as consolidated and stand-alone litigations, offering a valuable resource for tracking developments across the numerous cases.

Click to subscribe and you’ll receive email updates after new evidence is added.

*The New Mexico trial occurred in two phases. The first phase established liability and was a jury trial. The trial’s second phase addressed (1) the scope of appropriate injunctive relief, specifically safety improvement changes, necessary to address Meta’s statutory violations (as found during the first phase); (2) whether Meta’s actions contributed to a “public nuisance” and (3) if so, the amount Meta must pay to abate that nuisance. A ruling has not yet been made in the second phase bench trial.
