Motley Rice LLC is pleased to announce that Joshua M. Neuman joined the firm as senior counsel and Josey M. Richards and Alexandra A. Stulpin joined as associates at Three Logan Square in Philadelphia. Together they bring talent that will strengthen several of the firm’s litigation areas, particularly pharmaceutical drugs, medical devices, toxic exposure, defective products, sexual abuse and human rights.

Joshua Neuman (MI, NJ, NY, PA)

Josh seeks justice for individuals harmed by defective products, pharmaceutical drugs, medical devices, and corporate negligence through complex litigation. He currently represents plaintiffs in litigation alleging the herbicide Paraquat caused Parkinson’s disease and other neurological issues, plaintiffs alleging they were harmed by Monsanto’s herbicide Roundup® and individuals harmed when using a defective pressure cooker. Prior to joining Motley Rice, Josh was a partner at an international law firm representing clients in pharmaceutical drugs and devices, consumer fraud and harmful products. He earned a J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law and a B.A. with honors from the University of Michigan. Josh is a frequent speaker on mass torts.

Josey Richards (PA)

Josey represents individuals in litigation alleging corporate negligence involving medications and medical devices, crime victims, technology, and toxic exposure. She is part of a team representing agricultural workers who developed neurological problems after being exposed to the herbicide Paraquat. Josey also contributes to litigation against several GLP-1 RA manufacturers and the multidistrict litigation against social media companies accused of building addictive platforms targeting children and teenage users. She earned a J.D. from the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law and a B.S. from Texas Christian University.

Alexandra Stulpin (NJ, PA)

Allie brings to Motley Rice nearly a decade of experience litigating medical, human rights and sexual abuse cases in both state and federal courts. She applies a trauma-informed approach throughout every stage of the legal process to support victims and survivors. Prior to joining the firm, Allie worked as part of a national litigation practice focused on representing survivors of sexual and physical assaults in institutional settings, such as boarding schools, residential treatment facilities, hospitals, universities, sports organizations, daycare centers, religious institutions and massage parlors. While earning a J.D. from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law she was President of the Criminal Law Association and clerked for the Honorable William E. Nugent in the Appellate Division of the New Jersey Superior Court. She currently serves as an associate member of the Pennsylvania State University Schreyer Honors College Alumni Society Board in the DEI group and the National Crime Victim Bar Association.
