Nicole served as a summer law clerk with Motley Rice in 2023, and as a judicial intern for the Honorable Elizabeth K. Dillon of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Virginia in the summer of 2022. While completing her legal studies, Nicole served as Executive Editor for the Wake Forest Journal of Law & Policy. She was also a Wills Coordinator for the Pro Bono Project and a member of the Pro Bono Honors Society, having logged more than 175 hours of pro bono service over three years.

Prior to law school, Nicole was a junior kindergarten teacher during the height of the pandemic in Roanoke, Virginia. Prior to that she spent two years with Teach for America in Redwood City, Calif., teaching high school Spanish.
