Nicole Chaney represents individuals who have been harmed by defective medical drugs and devices and by toxic chemicals contained in consumer products.
Nicole advocates for individuals who have suffered serious medical conditions from exposure to weed killers such as Roundup® and Paraquat. Nicole also litigates for plaintiffs who allege they developed gynecologic cancers after using certain chemical hair relaxers in In re: Hair Relaxer Marketing Sales Practices and Products Liability Litigation (MDL 3060).
Nicole served as a summer law clerk with Motley Rice in 2023. During law school, Nicole gained experience as a judicial intern for the Honorable Elizabeth K. Dillon of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Virginia. She also served as Executive Editor for the Wake Forest Journal of Law & Policy and Coordinator for the Pro Bono Wills Project. She was inducted into the Pro Bono Honors Society, having logged more than 75 hours of pro bono service over three years. Prior to law school, Nicole taught high school Spanish with Teach for America and junior kindergarten in her hometown.
