Apollo-Parks town hall meeting held for radiation contamination victims

On Thursday, July 29, Motley Rice and Pennsylvania-based law firm Goldberg, Persky & White held a town hall meeting to update those who have been or may have been exposed to radiation contamination by nuclear processing facilities in Apollo and Parks, Pennsylvania on the current legal proceedings. The town hall meeting hosted approximately 250 people and was held at the United Steelworkers Local 1130 Meeting Hall in Leechburg, PA.

Since January, the two firms have filed lawsuits in Pittsburgh federal court on behalf of numerous individuals who have developed illnesses  in the last few years. About 20 cancers are linked to radiation contamination including breast, cervical, kidney, brain, ovarian and thyroid cancers.
